Duplex with new staircase
A dark, divided duplex opened up around a new staircase and full-height glazing.
Project brief
The old enclosed staircase blocked light and split the ground floor into small rooms. The owners wanted an open space with views to the terrace.
Our solution
We replaced the staircase with a steel and glass design, removed two partition walls and installed full-height sliding glazing to the terrace. New flooring and lighting tie both floors together.
